Advertising Policy
Lavabit assumes no responsibility for its advertisers or their offers. However, to protect the reputation of Lavabit and the security of its users, we enforce the following acceptable Advertising Policy.
By advertising with Lavabit you agree not to submit content that is:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, libelous, defamatory or harassing.
- Pornographic, sexual or otherwise not suitable for children.
- Misleading, deceptive or deceitful.
- Infringing the intellectual property rights of another, including but not limited to copyright, trademark or patent rights of another.
- A pyramid scheme.
- Harmful or destructive to a person’s computer, including but not limited to viruses, trojans or other malware.
Lavabit administrators will not knowingly approve advertising requests that violate these provisions. If an advertisement is found to be linking to content that is later discovered to be in violation of this policy, we will terminate the advertising campaign without refund.
To report a violation of this policy, please use our contact page. Please be sure to submit any relevant details, including a screenshot of the offensive content. Sometimes advertisers will deceptively hide content from our administrators. Therefore when contacting our administrators it is important that you provide as much detail as possible.
Lavabit reserves the right to update this acceptable advertising policy at its discretion and without notice or consideration. The most current version of the acceptable advertising policy can always be viewed using the Advertising Policy
hypertext link at the bottom of all web pages. Agreement to this policy is a prerequisite for advertising on any Lavabit service.
